Proform treadmills are hands-down the most well-known treadmill on the market today.
Because of this (and because of the fact that Proform doesn't give long parts warranties), people are always asking us where to find Proform replacement parts for their treadmills.
Before we get into that, let's talk about your options for repairing your treadmill:
#1) Make sure your warranty has run out before ordering replacement parts or hiring a technician to fix your treadmill.
#2) If your treadmill is no longer under warranty, you can call a repairman to come and fix your treadmill.
You'll be paying for time (service) and parts. If your treadmill is older, you might be paying a bundle for hard-to-find parts.
#3) If you are particularly handy and want to save on the repairman's fees, you can order the treadmill parts yourself and try to fix the treadmill on your own.
This is only a viable option if #1 you are handy and #2 the repair is fairly simple.
When you get there, click on the 'Customer Service' tab at the top of the page. Then click on 'Replacement parts' from the list of links.
Enter your treadmill model number which you can find the front cover of your manual, and on the serial number decal, and then click 'Submit'.
You'll be given a list of replacement parts that you can order from Proform.com
Remember - ONLY do this if you know what you're doing, the warranty is no longer valid and the repair is fairly simple.
