Reebok treadmills are manufactured by ICON Health and Fitness, one of the largest producers of exercise equipment in the world, who also manufacture brands like Nordic Track, Proform, and Healthrider.
The Reebok 3500C is one of Reebok's 'Commercial Grade' treadmill series. How does it measure up to similarly priced economy treadmills like the Smooth 5.45?
Here's a review of the Reebok 3500 C treadmill to help you decide:
Treadmill Stats:
Price: $999
Motor: 2.0 CHP
Speed: 0 -12 MPH
Incline: 0 -10%
Treadbelt: 20 x 60"
Folding: Yes
Extras:
Extra Long Belt - If you're tall or have extra long legs, the 60" long belt will be a luxury for you. No worries about falling off the end of the treadmill
iFit Compatibility - Using iFit.com programming, workouts can be run from the Internet, videos, or compact discs. You'll never get bored with your workout.
Decent Warranty - Although Reebok isn't known for their extensive treadmill warranties, the Reebok 3500C actually comes with a lifetime frame and 10 year motor warranty, which is fairly decent (also included is 1 year on parts & labor).
Not Suitable for Runners or Heavier Users - If you're 200+ pounds or plan on using your treadmill to run, this is NOT your treadmill. Don't take a chance with your joints, knees and back. Invest a little more in a solid, stable treadmill like a Sole or Landice.
Overall Conclusion: Average Treadmill For A Decent Price
If you really like the Reebok name and want a solid treadmill with extra walking space, the 3500C is a decent buy. We would have liked to see a much stronger motor power however.
Before buying you might want to compare it to similarly priced treadmills like the Smooth 5.45 which give you a longer warranty, stronger motor, better cushioning and higher expert reviews.
