Extras:
7" Interactive Flat Screen TV Built Into the Console
This feature is hard to find (Unless you want to pay $5000+ and buy a commercial treadmill with tv installed.) At this price point, it's offers great value. If you like watching tv while working out, you'll love this feature.
350 Pound Weight Capacity
This is a solid deck and weight capacity - especially for the heavier user.
Durasoft Cushioning
NordicTrack's DuraSoft™ Cushioning helps protect the connective tissues of your ankles, knees and hip joints. It helps to reduce impact on your joints by up to 28%, as compared to road running. It would probably be more than adequate for walkers.
iFit Compatible
iFIT.com® provides programmed workouts via the Internet, compact discs or video that control the speed and intensity of your treadmill. You get targeted workouts, motivational personal coaching and music. Each workout is designed by a personal trainer.
Folding with AirLight™ Lift Assist
Airlist Lift assist makes folding and unfolding your treadmill easier - saving the strain on your back.
Overall Conclusion:
The Nordic Track 2800 Viewpoint is pretty basic in terms of cushioning, motor and construction. However to get a treadmill under $2000 with a built-in tv screen and interactive display is still pretty impressive.
The lifetime motor warranty is a nice touch although we would have liked to see a longer electronics warranty.
Where To Buy:
You get Free Shipping and save on sales tax too.
