1) iFit Live Built In
You can get iFit LIVE already built in with this treadmill (you don't need to buy the the extra iFit LIVE module as you do with their starter models). This makes it easier to set-up and get started online.
With iFit LIVE you can get workouts powered by Googlemaps that simulate trails all over the world. You can also map out your own trails that you want to run or choose from an online library of "famous" trails to cover like the Grand Canyon or Diamond Head.
You can also download new workouts where Jillian Michaels coaches you through the routine. You can also track your workout stats online and track your progress over time to reach new fitness goals.
2) 3% Decline
In addition to up to 15% incline, you also have the option to decline with this treadmill, which is something you don't find on most machines.
This can give you a better crosstraining workout, more variety and also lends a more realistic feel to when you're walking a trail using the iFit LIVE (for example, the treadmill declines when the actual trail would decline and inclines when the actual trail inclines - very cool).
3) Full Color Touch-Screen Display
The 7" touch-screen display makes it easy to read your stats like speed, pace, distance, time, calories burned, pulse and incline. You can choose your workout options with the swipe of a finger and it's very easy to figure out how to get started.
Plus the full-color display is really neat when you're using the iFit LIVE to run different trails as it shows you the terrain in full color. While it's not the largest console screen Nordic Track makes, it's still more than adequate for most users.
4) Stronger Construction For Added Stability
The Commercial 1750 is built to a higher construction standard with more substance to it than starter Nordic Track models. They use large precision-machines 3" rollers, which can stand up longer under more stress.
The 350 lb weight capacity, high powered 3.5 HP motor and heavier unit weight also help to contribute to a sturdier, more stable feel - great for runners or those who like to power walk.
5) Extra Long 60" Treadbelt For Extra Running Space

The Commercial 1750 is currently being offered with an extra long warranty. The motor and frame are covered for a lifetime. Parts are covered for 5 years and labor is covered for 2 years.
Of special note is the 2 years on service - which is excellent. With other brands, you usually only get 1 year on service. This alone can save you quite a bit of money.
Weaknesses:
If you don't have Wireless Internet in your house you won't get as much use out of the iFit Live capability - which may or may not matter to you.
