SportsArt TR21F Treadmill Review

A Detailed Review of the Sports Art TR21F Treadmill
The SportsArt TR21F treadmill is one of SportsArts most popular treadmills and it's not hard to see why.

While it's one of the most affordable SportsArt treadmills, it still gives you a lot of features you'd usually only find on a commercial $3000+ machine

With a club-style console, strong 3.0 HP motor, highly stable feel, and extra long 58" deck it's attractive to someone looking for a premium home treadmill.  It also folds up to save space - a feature not usually found on a high end treadmill.

Is it the right choice for you?  Here's a quick review to help you decide:

Extras:

Commercial Grade Feel - Even though it folds up to save space, the welded steel frame, 2.5" crowned rollers and SDS Shock Dissipation cushioning gives the TR21F a commercial grade feel.

Add to that a strong 3.0 HP motor and a 400 lb user weight capacity and you've got a very stable, sturdy treadmill that can take a beating.

3 Color Dot Matrix Console with CardioAdvisor and ActiveZone - The 3 color console makes your information easier to read. You can track calories, distance, speed, incline, time, calories per hour, METS, pace, heart rate and target heart rates.

The Active Zone icon shows you which muscle groups are being activated during your workout. The CardioAdvisor gives you extemely accurate heart rate feedback - more accurate than heart rate results you find in most economy models.

12 Advanced Workout Programs - The SportsArt TR21F treadmill comes with 12 professionaly designed workouts including GluteTrainer, Heart Rate Zone Trainer and Track and Weight Loss Heart Rate Trainer.

Offers More Value Than The Competition - When you compare the TR21F to the Precor M9.31, LifeFitness F3 Advanced or the Pacemaster Gold Elite, (which you can do on the website - under "Competitor Comparison") the TR21F comes out ahead in both features and a lower price.

(It's also interesting to note that SportsArt used to manufacture treadmills for the Precor brand in the 80s and 90s).

Overall Conclusion:  Recommended

If you're a runner you'll love this treadmill: it feels like a commercial unit, has some extremely advanced built in workouts, a club-type console, strong motor and extra long 58" belt - all covered by a decent warranty.

The one drawback to the SportsArt TR21F treadmill is the price.  It may be more than some people need. (If you're only planning on walking, save some money and check out the new Nordic track models or Sole models)

If however, you want a commercial grade, premium treadmill without spending a fortune, the TR21F is a great buy.
