Sole TT8 Treadmill Review
The Sole TT8 treadmill is Sole's luxury, high-end treadmill.  The 'TT' basically stands for a Twenty-Two inches wide belt.

This is the widest running belt you'll find on a treadmill. So you have so much room you feel like you're on a health club machine.

The TT8 is also built with a heavier commercial grade construction. You get the strong 3.5 HP Ultra High Torque Motor, large 3" rollers and 10 lb flywheel for extra smooth operation.

The monster 300 lb unit weight, grated, reinforced deck and 425 lb user weight capacity makes this treadmill feel very solid - even when you start to run.

Is the TT8 right for you?  Here's a quick review to help you decide:

Sole TT8 Treadmill Review - Strengths:

1) 22" Wide Belt Gives You Extra Room To Move - This is the widest belt you'll find in the industry. With the extra 60" length, runners and taller users will love the space on this treadmill.  You can also pick up your pace without worrying that you'll fall off the treadmill.

2) Reduce Joint Impact by 40% - If you're worried about shin splints, joint strain or the impact on your body from long workouts, the TT8 offers solid protection.

It uses Cushion Flex cushioning which is unique to Sole and has actually been proven to reduce impact by 40% (as compared to running on asphalt).

3)  Make Easy Speed & Incline Changes Without Disrupting Your Pace - This feature is unique to Sole treadmills.  You can change your speed or incline with the touch of a button on the side arm rests instead of reaching up to the console controls.

This comes in handy, especially when you pick up your pace and don't want to reach up to the console - which can often throw off your stride.

4) Extra Long Warranty With 2 Years On Service Protects Your Investment - The Sole TT8 treadmill comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, deck and motor.  Electronics, belt and rollers are covered for 5 years and labor is covered for 2 years.  This is one of the longest warranties on the market and tells you about the quality of construction on the TT8.

Of special note is the 2 years coverage on service or labor costs.  With other brands, you usually only get 1 year. This alone can save you quite a bit of money.

5)  Solid, Shake-Free Deck - The TT8 offers an industry-high weight capacity of 425 lbs and a unit weight of 300 lbs -  which means it's built to be solid as a rock.

Sole has also used a grated, reinforced frame for added stability. Basically when you run on this thing, it does not move.

6)  Run at Top Speeds of 12 MPH - Most treadmills give you up to 10 MPH speed limits - which is fine for most of us. However some athletes and ambitious exercisers like to go further. So it's nice to have a 12 MPH speed limit - another example of how Sole put more into the TT8.

Sole TT8 Treadmill Review - Weaknesses:

While this isn't a weakness of the TT8 itself, the treadmill may be more than some people need. If you're on a budget, you could probably go for a lesser priced model like the F85 for runners or the F80 for walkers.

Overall Conclusion:  Highly Recommended

The Sole TT8 is simply the best treadmill in the already impressive Sole lineup. It's one of those treadmills that gets us excited because it packs so much value into the price.

With the widest belt in the industry, a high powered motor, commercial grade construction, reinforced deck and club-like console it easily competes with $3500+ health club treadmills.

If you're a casual walker, you can probably save a bit and look at the lower priced models like the F80.  However runners - or those who just want a top of the line machine - will love this treadmill.
