For the price, you get a strong motor, solid cushioning, heart rate control, excellent warranty, 9 user profiles and power folding - pretty much everything you want in a treadmill, whether you're walking or running. So overall, the Smooth 9.17 treadmill offers good value.
The only thing we didn't like was the size of the belt - for this price you'd want a bit longer than the 54" belt this treadmill offers. Taller users will probably want to look at the Smooth 9.25 HR which has an extra long 62" belt.
