What does the remanufacturing process entail? While methods do vary, most remanfuctured units go through a process like this:
- Disassembling the treadmill
- Sandblasting the frame to strip off any imperfections
- Powder coating the frame and baking it
- Rebuilding the mechanical and / or electrical systems with brand new parts to match new treadmill specifications.
- Reassembling the treadmill
- Refinishing the exterior with paint,seal/finish, decals, etc.
- A Diagnostic Examination is performed by certified specialists to ensure performance.
- Completion - the treadmill is now essentially NEW, and often the only part of the treadmill that is not brand new is the frame.
Make sure you choose a remanufacturer who has experience reburbishing, selling and shipping heavy gym-quality treadmills.
