Strengths:
1) Work Out With Jillian Michaels from 'The Biggest Loser' - The Elite 7000 has an iFit card reader. Nordic Track has teamed up with Jillian Michaels (from the TV show 'The Biggest Loser') to make specialized iFit workout cards (sold separately). You actually get Jillian talking you through your workout. Very cool.
2) iPod Port With Speakers Built Into the Console - You can plug your iPod or MP3 player into the built-in audio jack and listen to your favorite music or audiobooks while you workout. Along with the iFit cards, this can turn a boring old treadmill into your personal entertainment station.

Weaknesses:
There's not a lot of weaknesses here. Nordic Track recently increased their warranty coverage to 5 years on parts from 1 year which is a huge improvement (and one of our previous weaknesses).
If you want a similar treadmill with a little motor power, more user programs and a built-in TV, consider looking at the Elite 7500 first.
Overall Conclusion: Highly Recommended
The Nordic Track Elite 7000 treadmill is one of the higher end Nordic track units, suited especially for runners or power walkers.
It's heavier in terms of construction than many of the lesser priced models. The cushioning system is also better. And the extra long 60" belt gives you lots of room to move.
While you don't get the TV, higher motor power or number of workouts that the Elite 7500 gives you, overall the 7000 is a great runners treadmill for an affordable price.
