Strengths:
Decent Motor - The Fuel T94 treadmill comes with a strong 2.25 continuous duty HP motor. It's not the highest motor power out there, but at this price point, it's still quite good. Plus it's covered by a lifetime motor warranty to give you some added peace of mind.
Built In Speakers with Mp3 Hookup - Plug in your mp3 and listen to your favorite music or audiobook through the built in speakers.
This isn't a necessity but it's still a handy feature that can help make your workout much more fun. Note however that there is no jack for your headphones.
Warranty - The Fuel T94 warranty is quite good for an economy treadmill: lifetime frame and motor warranty, 1 year parts and labor. It's better than many department store treadmills.
Positive Customer Reviews - While there aren't a lot of reviews out there yet, the few customer reviews we did find were extremely positive.
Many users liked the overall value of what they got for the price. They also commented that the treadmills were easy to assemble and gave a solid feel when walking on them.
Having recently tested out the Fuel T94 ourselves, we agree that it does feel quite solid. The deck is surprisingly strong for a budget machine.
We also liked the speed and incline buttons on the armrests which saves you from having to reach up to the console to adjust your speed/incline.
Weaknesses:
The Fuel T94 treadmill is affordable and has a lot of solid core basics of a decent treadmill. However it's also an economy machine and a bit bare bones.
You only get up to 10% incline and 10 MPH maximum speed. The console is very simplistic with hard-to-push pressure pad buttons.
Don't expect a commercial grade machine and runners should definitely consider spending more for a higher caliber of construction like the Sole models.
Overall Conclusion:
The Fuel T94 treadmill shows a lot of promise as a new entry into the economy market. For the price, what you get is excellent. It has a solid feel, decent sized deck, strong motor and decent warranty.
However it's also a very bare bones machine with a very simplistic console. There's not a lot of bells and whistles. It's also not recommended for runners or heavier usage.
However if you're on a budget and want an alternative to the ICON brands the Fuel T94 is definitely one option to consider.
