Electronic Functions: 18

Heart Rate Monitor: Yes - Wireless

User Weight Capacity: 300 pounds

Strengths:

Faster Speed - One of the complaints on lower end models is that they only go up to 3.8 or 4.0 MPH.  The Bowflex Treadclimber TC6000 goes up to 4.5 MPH which is a big improvement and can help you burn more calories. (Note the TC 5300 also goes up to 4.5 MPH)

Bowflex Advantage™ - This is unique to the TC6000.  The Advantage feature tracks the total workout volume, last 5 Fitness Tests, and weight loss progress for up to 5 users.

Advanced Backlit LCD Console - This is the most advanced console of all the Treadclimber models, is easy to read with 18 electronic functions. You also get 12 built in workout programs including Manual, Plateau, Cross Training, Intervals, The Brooklyn Bridge, The Golden Gate Bridge, and Heart Rate Control. (Workout programs are not currently offered on other models).

Warranty:  The TC6000 offers a longer warranty than the TC1000 or the TC 3000 - 5 Years on Motor, 3 Years on Parts & Electronics, 2 Years on Hydraulics. This is the same warranty as you'll find on the less priced TC5000 and TC 5300

Ergo Bar - This comes with Remote Operating Controls that let you adjust speed while working out. The idea is that you don't have to reach over to the console and this makes your workout easier.

Weaknesses:

The TC6000 is quite expensive and probably out of the price range of most buyers. For this price we would expect a much longer warranty and maybe the ability to change the resistance directly from the console.

The main differences between the TC6000 and the lower priced 5300 and 5000 are the Bowflex Advantage™ tracking tools, 12 electronic functions instead of 8, a flashier, more advanced console and the remote operating control on the grip.

If you don't really care about these things, you can save a lot of money and check out the TC5000 instead.

Overall Conclusion:

The Bowflex Treadclimber TC6000 is the best Treadclimber model currently available. It improves on the other models with higher speed limit, longer deck, more functions, better warranty, more advanced console and remote operating controls.

However it's also quite pricey.  If you don't really care about having more electronic functions or fitness tracking tools, you may want to save a bit and check out the TC5000 or TC3000 instead.
