#2) Built-in Speakers with iPod Station - The higher end models come with built-in speakers and a place to plug in your iPod or Mp3.
It should be noted however that this is becoming fairly standard as brands like Sole and Nordic Track are also putting iPod docks and speakers into their treadmills.
#3) Great Warranties - Bodycraft home treadmills are covered by a lifetime frame warranty, 40 years on motor, 5 years on parts and 2 years on labor. This is an excellent warranty and gives you an indication of the quality of parts used in construction.
Of special note is the 2 years on labor which is excellent. Most treadmills only offer 1 year. The only other treadmill brand that offers this kind of lengthy warranty is Sole.
#4) Decent Reviews - Bodycraft has many many 'Best Buy' awards for their home gyms. And as of this writing Amazon users had given the 1120 model 5 out of 5 stars.
Weaknesses:
These treadmills are not as well known or as widely distributed as other brands. Because of this, they can be hard to find.
Also, the motor powers - starting around 1.75 HP, are a little low when compared to similarly priced brands.
Conclusion:
Bodycraft home treadmills are well built and made by a company that has been around for years with an excellent reputation. They offer attractive consoles, excellent warranties, decent program options and even built-in speakers for your mp3.
However, Bodycraft seems to have put more into promoting their home gyms than their treadmills. In a crowded treadmill market, they'll have to do more to outshine the competition.
There are other brands like Sole that give you more for your money in terms of walking area, cushioning, motor power and treadbelt size.
